FLHVACPrep is a focused study resource for the Florida Air Conditioning Contractor (Class A/B) exam. We built it for the working tech: someone who can wire a condenser in their sleep but hasn't sat a timed, reference-heavy exam in years — and now has a license, and a bigger paycheck, riding on it.
Why we built FLHVACPrep
The Florida air conditioning contractor exam is open book, and that lulls a lot of experienced people into under-preparing. The reference set is enormous and the clock is unforgiving, so the candidates who pass aren't the ones who "know HVAC" — they're the ones who know exactly where each answer lives and can get to it fast. We wrote 341 practice questions across all ten content areas, each with a plain-English explanation, specifically to build that speed and that recall.
How we keep it current
HVAC licensing doesn't stand still. EPA 608 refrigerant rules, the Florida Building and Mechanical Code, energy-efficiency minimums, and Chapter 489 licensing law all change over time, and a question that was right two years ago can quietly go stale. We review our bank against the current reference materials and the exam outline, and revise questions and explanations when the underlying rules move — so what you practice reflects what the state tests today.

About our questions
Our practice questions are written in-house by Hilogistic, Corp to cover the same content areas and reference materials tested on the Florida Air Conditioning Contractor (Class A/B) Exam. They are original items designed to build real understanding — not copied or leaked exam questions. We review and update them as the state's requirements and reference materials change.
